Camping is a very interesting activity, so when we go camping, we need to prepare tents. So how to choose a suitable tent for us to go camping? Next, Zhuhai Tent Factory will tell you!

1. Ensure that each person has 30 square feet (2.8 square meters) of space. Think about how many people you camped with, how many people you usually camped in tents, and what you need to do in tents. It is recommended that you choose a tent to provide at least 30 square feet of space for everyone in the tent.

A 5x7-foot tent (1.5m× 2.1m) may be technically large enough to allow two adults to sleep, but a 10x10-foot tent (3.1m× 3.3m) can change the room, store clothes, and even add rubber rollers or air mattresses.

2.don't go too far. Tents larger than 10 x 10 feet (3.1 m× 3.1 m) may be clumsy in shape, heavy in weight and unable to carry long distances. It is also difficult to find enough horizontal space to set up these tents.

3. Get a simple A-type tent to save money. The most common shape of type A tents is ideal because they are cheap and light. The only major disadvantage of this shape is that the inclined sidewalls tend to restrict space. This shape is not good in bad weather because the side walls are easily damaged by extreme wind. There are also improved A-frame tents, which have the basic shape of A-frame, but are slightly adjusted to increase internal space.

4. If you want to be clear, go to the dome. The dome tent is stabilized by a flexible rod across the top of the tent. Because of their structure, they provide a lot of clearance. The larger dome tent is not stable, so if you plan to have several people sleep in your tent, you can consider using different shapes.

5. Buy a geodesic tent to maintain good stability. Geodetic tents are similar to dome tents because their columns intersect, but the difference is that these intersecting poles produce triangles. It's a good shape choice, if you camp a lot in winter, because it's very stable.
